As they say in Boston, it's been a 'wicked hot' summer here in the Hudson Valley. So I decided to pool together some sketches (drawn at the Red Hook Pool) to help cool things off.

Fantastic sketchbooking, Dan! Love the mixed media!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Graham! Drawing poolside has been to perfect solution to a brutally hot summer:-)
ReplyDeleteVery nice. I followed you here from your Orwell portrait on FB. I like the top sketch in the wet and then dried notebook. I love notebooks though I put words in them more than pictures.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great feedback, anonymous. Sketchbooks and notebooks sometimes produce the best work - because there's nothing self-conscious about what we put in them. Good luck your writing. You can see your drawings like the George Orwell portrait on this "unpublished' page of this blog.
