Roscoe

 

Periodically, I draw pet portraits as commissions. I created this one of Roscoe, who recently passed over the rainbow bridge. As his family mourns his passing, they wanted a depiction of Roscoe in his favorite field, overlooking the Hudson Valley countryside.

Here’s a pet portrait commission I drew for friends who recently lost their sweet dog, Lloyd. He loved playing outdoors, and this is a depiction of him as a puppy.

I drew this commissioned portrait for some dear friends, 

who's beautiful kitty is named Zuzu.

I haven't created a pet portrait in ages, but this cute fella is Charlie, drawn for a client in NYC.

Next to the illustrations and fine art I post here, my pet portraits tend to be a different sort of animal. But it was so much fun designing these prints (based on some of my favorite drawings), I had to share. They were drawn with charcoal, pastels, and other mixed media.
